Colors

Color therapy, or chromotherapy, is the method of treating ailments through the use of color. Color therapy can be done by shining an appropriate color on an area of the body. It can also be done through the eyes by looking at a particular color. Color therapy can enhance and elevate your mood. We have color therapy in our Infrared sauna.

a) Safe and pain-free so it can be used for children, adults and elderly alike

b) Addresses the physical symptoms of an ailment and also its non-physical origin

c) Balances the Chakras in the body

d) Has a positive influence on not only physical levels but also mental and spiritual levels

  • Red is used to energize or invigorate a person who might be feeling tired or down. However, red may also trigger people who might already be tense, which is why it’s used carefully in color therapy.
  • Blue Chromatherapists use blue to treat depression and pain. Darker shades of blue are also thought to have sedative properties and may be helpful for people who experience insomnia or other sleeping disorders. 
  • Green is the color of nature, and according to chromatherapists, it can help relieve stress and relax a person. 
  • Yellow can be used to improve your mood and make you happy and optimistic. 
  • Orange, much like yellow, can be used to elicit happy emotions from people. The bright warm color is also thought to be able to stimulate appetite and mental activity.
